My Approach

I offer personal training designed to work around you — for women who want to feel strong, confident, and powerful without sacrificing privacy or time. Sessions typically combine progressive strength training, mobility work, and practices you can repeat between sessions.

What this looks like in practice

Training takes place in your home or online, removing the need for gyms, commuting, or distractions. We find one hour that fits into your day, with all sessions kept one-to-one and discreet. It’s a simple, considered approach — personal training that fits your life, in a space that feels right.

I work across North London, prices available on request.

The process

The process is designed to keep things simple, supportive, and easy to stick with — without adding more to your plate.

1. Start with a private consultation

We begin with a private consultation to understand what you want from training, what’s getting in the way, and how movement can best support you right now.

This is a chance to talk through your goals, any aches or limitations, and how training needs to fit around your life — so sessions feel realistic, not overwhelming.

2. Train in a way that fits your life

From there, sessions are scheduled around your diary and delivered in your home, online, or as a blend of both — whatever works best for you.

Sessions focus on strength training for long-term health, alongside mobility, balance, and functional movement, so you feel stronger, more confident, and more resilient in everyday life.

3. Review, adapt, and build momentum

Training evolves as you do. Every eight weeks, we review progress, refine goals, and adjust your sessions so the work stays relevant, effective, and motivating.

After each session, you’ll receive a short summary so you know exactly what you’ve done and how to continue between sessions — building confidence, consistency, and momentum over time.

Most clients train once or twice per week with me. Many are returning to strength training after a long break, and often tell me they feel more confident and capable within the first few weeks.

Female Personal Trainer, north london, at home work outs training sessions

Hello,

I’m Tessa — a personal trainer and women’s health coach working with women who lead full, demanding lives and want their health supported with the same intention they bring to everything else.

After years in a fast-paced career in advertising, alongside raising a young child, I understand how easily health can slip when time and energy are limited. That experience shapes my approach: training that is intelligent, purposeful, and designed to fit real life.

My background began with Pilates, which helped me recover from significant physical challenges following pregnancy. As I moved into my late thirties, I shifted my focus towards strength training — particularly to support bone health, resilience, and long-term wellbeing. This now underpins my work.

I hold a Level 3 Personal Training qualification, with additional training in nutrition and pre- and postnatal coaching. My aim is simple: to help women build strength that supports them now and into the future, without adding another demand to their day.
